“What did we learn on the Hmong Cultural Tour?” “What can we tell others about Hmong life in Wisconsin?” These are the questions the Randall students wrestled with at the end of their year of travel, background study, and creating design ideas and media representations for the Madison Children’s Museum – and for this website.

With ten writing prompts, and many weeks of writing, students reflected on their personal journey, their deepest experiences, the humbling challenge of representing a culture, their best designs for creating a nationally-touring exhibit, and moments of profound understanding.
